The 12 skills

The quality of every result you want to create depends on how well you can optimise your brain’s performance. To do so, you need to master 12 cognitive skills, starting from the ones that are the highest priority for you based on your self-perception, personal goals and skill level.

These 12 skills are divided into 4 categories: Efficiency, Acquisition, Evaluation and Impact.

1. Efficiency

Efficiency is the ability to produce a valuable result with minimum waste of energy. Everyone gets 24 hours a day. However, even when goals are similar, the results they have and the rhythm they build for themselves differ immensely. How well do you use the time that you have?

Focus

Research shows that after a distraction, it takes about 23 minutes to regain deep focus. In our distraction-filled world, maintaining concentration is a standout skill. Learn to manage your distractions and be laser-focused at command.

Time Management

Many people feel that time is not within their control, focusing on urgent tasks instead of what truly matters. We can help you create a personalised strategy for a sustainable and productive rhythm.

Productivity

Completing tasks effectively and on time may be hard due to poor systems, too many distractions, and difficulty focusing without urgent deadlines. Discovering your working style and using effective techniques will greatly boost your efficiency.

2. Acquisition

We live in the information era, where today’s knowledge will not be enough to meet tomorrow’s challenges. The ability to understand, process and organise concepts becomes paramount, as does being able to absorb information and connect it with your background knowledge.

Speed Reading

On average, people spend at least 2 hours a day reading, including books, articles, reports, emails, social media and text messages. Imagine saving half that time without losing comprehension—you’d gain 15 full days each year!

Processing

Our brain’s language is very different from the written/spoken language. Learning how to translate complex ideas into brain-friendly terms and seeing the bigger picture will help you understand and remember any concept and detail better and for longer.

Memory

Memory is key to problem-solving, decision-making, and information processing. Mastering fast, fun memory techniques is a rare superpower, helping you easily remember languages, numbers, names, and more, for as long as you need to.

3. Evaluation

This is the way in which we observe the world around us and make sense of it. Every decision we make will be based on this, as will every solution we find to a problem, and every idea we come up with. Learn how to stay sharp and accurate to navigate life effectively!

Attention to Detail

Good observation skills help you spot errors and missing details. There is incredible value in discerning necessary details from unnecessary ones, which makes attention to detail a crucial foundation for all other skills.

Critical Thinking

Critical thinking helps us assess the huge amount of information we receive constantly. To do it accurately, learning how to recognise and override our cognitive biases will allow you to unlock your full mental and social potential.

Lateral Thinking

Everyone is born creative, but as we grow, we often struggle to generate ideas when needed. While we occasionally have great ideas, learning techniques to spark creativity at command can help us avoid the dreaded blank page and let our ideas flow freely.

4. Impact

This area includes those individual skills that help you shape the world around you the most. To have an impact, it is not enough to have amazing abilities, but we need to make sure that we are able to communicate it to the world through our words and our actions.

Problem Solving

The reason why many problems keep resurfacing over time is because in most cases people find great solutions… to the wrong problems! Learn how to identify the actual root cause and come up with an effective, ingenious solution.

Decision Making

Adults make around 33,000 to 35,000 decisions daily, from minor to major ones. Mastering quick, thoughtful decision-making can reduce confusion, regret and fatigue, boosting your outcomes, influence, and leadership skills.

Presentation Skills

Public speaking is a common fear, but not fearing it isn't enough. Communicating clearly and strategically can help you entertain, persuade, teach, or motivate effectively. This will boost your confidence, reduce misunderstandings, and enhance your persuasion skills.

It all started with the Inner Genius Assessment!

2023 was a great year with lots of success for me and it all started with the Inner Genius Assessment. The clarity I got was a key catalyst which informed my life and career decisions and set me up on a path to becoming a better version of myself. I am so glad I did this and really appreciate the value inGeniusly provide through this service. I highly recommend this to anyone looking to improve themselves.

It gave me a clear cut plan customised on me

The mentor gave me a clear cut plan customised on me on how I could use my strengths to my benefit while at the same time work on my weaknesses. I have made huge steps towards a better version of myself. The door opened the day that I discussed my results, and I thank the inGeniusly team for helping me understand the power of my mind…!

It made me want to look deeper

I found more clarity through the delivery, especially on my strengths and weaknesses. Where I thought I was weak I realised I was stronger and viceversa. Overall, the test made me more self aware. After seeing the results I realised that if I did not do something about it I would never change. The test makes you reflect on what you can do with your life and what you can achieve if you want to.

I have become better since taking it!

The delivery of the assessment allowed me to have insight into my cognitive strengths and areas needing improvement. This self-awareness was very valuable for my personal growth and enhancing overall effectiveness in various aspects of life. I have become better since taking it!

I've gained a newfound confidence and clarity

The assessment's insightful questions made me delve deeper into my strengths and weaknesses than I ever had before. For example, the results revealed that my critical thinking and memory were strong points, which surprised me because I always thought they were holding me back. This realisation shattered my self-doubt and opened my eyes to the areas I truly needed to focus on. Since taking the assessment, I've gained a newfound confidence and clarity.

The iGA cut straight through that cloud

What was most valuable to me is what I perceived about myself was not quite right. I thought I lacked focus, but in fact my focus was incredibly high & that there were other matters that clouded my perception. This iGA cut straight through that cloud and gave me a clear insight into what I needed to work on. I immediately began working on things to improve my productivity & time management!

The metrical data analysis which this report represented was key!

The assessment proved instrumental in identifying areas for development and fostering personal growth. I respond better to there being metrical and statistical data analysis, which this report represented. It underscored the significance of addressing perceived weaknesses and highlighted the value of genuine self-assessment for improvement.

There is so much I can get done now!

After taking the assessment and the modules, I've noticed how much has changed and how much I can get done. I've started projects I had put to the side for later that I never knew I would get to so soon, my organisation increased along with my memory itself. This gave me so much hope for what I can and will accomplish.

Very eye-opening and has given me a clear direction

The Inner Genius Assessment allowed me to take a step back and realign my priorities to achieve my goals. Going into the assessment I thought I knew what I wanted to work on and had a clear idea of my strengths and weaknesses. After the delivery, it was clear that I had picked things that were affecting me on the surface; however, they were masking the true challenges which I told myself I was strong. Very eye-opening and has given me a clear direction.
